Interested in locating a memorial or finding where the men listed upon it lived?
The map below features historic images of the war memorials, recording the men listed upon it. In the digital map if you select a memorial pin, a pop up will appear with information about the fund raising, building and dedication of sites. Similarly the last known addresses of the fallen soldiers are pinned on to the map. Where further information has been established for an individual a link out to a page dedicated to the soldier can be followed. The page shows details of the soldier’s military careers, any gallantry medals awarded and (if available) photographs.
